No need to keep track, it feels good to help out. You just take care of more important stuff, like wife's greenhouse. Will get paypal addy from Black Forest for concrete contribution pipeline, just to start the ball rolling.
And BTW, classy move Starrett, your company just stockpiled a ton of good will and loyal support from folks who actually buy and use your stuff daily.

TY Forest, the dirty deed is done, it is now up to Miner to choose highest priority use.

Come on folks, look under the seat cushions and buy Miner another yard of concrete.

P.S. I think if you mark the PayPal "for friends and family" then they won't charge Miner a fee.
And no IRS this is NOT INCOME. It is a zero profit swap, good karma for bad luck. No tax is due, just spreading out the pain into bite size nibbles.

800miner PM'm me and said it was OK for me to post his email address. When I clicked on the General forum there were 446 people viewing the General forum. If only about one third of you all would donate only 20 dollars we would meet the 3500 goal. And I know for fact there have already been donations.

WooHoo, lets get that slab poured so he can get shipping crates and Quonset hut up before winter.

We don't need to wait for no stinking slow pokey government agencies to get their opposing turf wars and paperwork sorted out. We the people, can move faster and better than any bureaucracy, we just need to do it, and do it now before weather complicates the situation.

We do sort of have to wait! I think Darl needs a place to pour the slab which is where the old shop was so he is waiting for the state to clear that away before he can begin on the new shop.

Well it won't hurt to have ducks in a row, and money in hand.
Darl does not need to be waiting in me when the weather begins to complicate his situation.
Just want to make sure he has it when and where it is needed, because I sure as hell don't need a shaper before winter. LOL
Thanks for keeping us updated Forest, appreciate all your assistance with making the help pipeline easier.

Precisely my feelings - which is why I have saved this even though I still can't watch this w/a dry eye:

I didn't realize all the goodness in this world.
I look up at the heavens and say "Thank you" a lot more these days.

I was given thee 40' sea trains from a neighbor that lost everything.
I am in the process of replacing the burnt flooring and then painting inside and out.
Years ago I sold another neighbor a Quonset hut. they never put it up and eventually abandoned the property.
I contacted them about buying it back, they said it was mine for free.

the Quonset is 20' wide so the seatrains will be 20' apart with the Quonset sitting on the inside walls of the seatrains.
Concrete slab under the Quonset, piers under the containers.

The third one is for the wife's garden and it will serve as one side of her greenhouse.

Everyone is waiting for the state funded cleanup crews to move in. I am sure that will take time.
I don't expect to have cleared land before Thanksgiving.

You guys don't know how many tears and lumps in the throat I have had from your generosity. Thank you.
My neighbor in Arizona did the same thing with 2 conex containers. Twenty foot wide future steel building on top of the conex containers that are spaced 20' apart. When we visit we usually stay in the "bunkhouse" above their garage. It is a pretty nice one bedroom apartment.

As to the paypal account, I will also be sending a donation towards the slab or whatever Darl chooses to spend it on. A couple of years ago Darl posted that he had some collets he was giving away for the price of shipping. I sent him a little extra but still felt a little guilty about getting so much for so little. This will make me feel better. Thanks again Darl.
