stellite 1

I am looking for a pound of Stellite 1 or an equal tig rod in C hardness (52~56c) any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, yes, i have worn out google and my phone trying to get less than 10lbs. I only need to do some clutch arms, at $38.00 a lb I dont think it would be cost effective when 5 or 6 rods is all need.

I have 40lbs of stellite #6 rod in 1/8". Not sure how they vary though.. JR

Thanks for checking for me, greatly appreciated. #6 has too low of a "as welded" Rockwell, I am looking for at least something in the mid 50's.

Considerably!

Stellite 6 is hard, abrasion resistant but Stellite 1 is HARD. I tried to grind a piece that had #1 welded on the end (3 passes, so about 95 % stellite) using a 14 in pedestal grinder and it barely touched it. Also very brittle.
