    By the way...
My VN has the 50 taper.
I use an adapter to ER40 for cutters up to 1" dia shank,
and a TG200 adapter for cutters from 1" up to 2" shank.
What toolholding systems do you guys use for the VN?

    I don't have a VN22 or know anyone with one. I do have a VN12 and occasionally run a VN1RQ3
Looks like "pissin in the wind" worked pretty well

My mill also has a 3.5" pulley on the motor and 6.625" on the machine.

If my math is correct that makes the target input speed 600 RPM.
    Thanks Mike,

This information will come in very handy.

Good to know I'm not the only one that appreciates these old machines.

So, is there anyone out there with a 22-L that would be willing to share with me the dimensions of the drive pulley OD and the driven pulleys OD?

I think I can manage from there, having known the outer diameters of those two pulleys.

    Thanks in advance,
