I tore one down, blasted, painted, rebearinged and resealed one 25 years ago.
Ran it for 8-10 years and then sold it because I was moving.
The only parts I bought from Johnson was the hydro cylinder leather cup, pinion and ring gear. The rest, bearings, seals, bolts is off the shelf stuff.
As I am working on the rebuild process - a couple of things :
Does anyone have the dimensions of the original step pulleys?
Does anyone have pictures of the original shut off switch configuration, when the saw finished the cut, it shut off?
( Or a better plan)
