Mine has that. Independent three jaw! It has three bolts that screw inform the sides to hold the tree (above the water line) to hold the tree and adjust for straight. I added a small spike in the bottom and drill a hole up into tree. Been using it for 26 years.

My problem is that if I saw that I'd suddenly start lusting for a lathe big enough to take a chuck of that implied sort of size....

My experience is that three-screw and five-screw Christmas tree stands make for miserable adjusting; adjusting the four-screw stand I bought a couple of years ago is a dream come true.
