The video was quite nice as well. I noticed you center drilled all of the holes first before changing to a regular drill to finish the drilling operations. Do you lose any accuracy that way?

Thanks! The accuracy is built into the master indexing plate being used, so as long as the work doesn't spin in the collet you can come back to any position with no more or no less accuracy.

Nice project and video Max. In regards to the big fat head video problem, why not place the camera on the other side of the lathe. You know, the
side you don't stand on.

LOL Thanks! FWIW, I can't put the camera on the other side, because the lathe bench is right up against the wall. I'm currently working on making some articulated camera mounts to place around the shop, to take care of that very problem though.

My father-in-law has a thing for gyroscopes, so I made a Clickspring-inspired one as a Christmas gift for him. Of course I made a video about it.
