  • Podcast - Episode 3!

If you have a long drive coming up (like driving to another state to pickup that lathe ) Max and I have recorded and posted episode 3:

    https://thecogwheel.net/2017/02/05/h...de-3-10-tools/

Here is the direct download link: https://thecogwheel.files.wordpress....3_10_tools.mp3

After talking general shop, we decided to talk about 10 tools that we really like in our shop.

Next episode is already in the works and we have a guest lined up for interviewing. Stay tuned ...

If you have any show ideas (or would like to be a guest) send me an email.

I've got to say, given how exhausted we both were, I think it turned out pretty well.

Maybe one of these days Justin actually will "edit that out".

Nice job on the show guys! Keep up the good work. There definitely aren't too many machinist podcast out there. I almost started one myself.

Thanks Matt. I found it strange that there wasn't a machining podcast directed generally towards the hobby person. I really enjoy listening to podcasts myself and was always looking for a machining one and never really found a good one so we decided to do it ourselves. I know a few years back Tony suggested someone start a weekly podcast. I wish we could do it weekly, but Max I have so much stuff that is going on that every 2 -3 weeks is when the planets align enough for us to grab an hour (or maybe 3 ) to record. Maybe once Max gets his orrery built we'll be able to just crank the handle faster.

The crazy thing is with this episode we had even more to talk about and we had to cut it off.

Gentleman another great podcast that does not disappoint. The natural chemistry between you two is excellent and content is excellent! Keep up the good work and look forward to many more shows. As a hobbyist putting together my first shop, the content has provided me with some very important things to think about that I had not considered.

This is definitely my favourite machining podcast! I haven't had a chance to listen to this episode yet. The last one was fantastic. You'll have to get Tony on. Just tell him that Stefan was the most popular guest so far. He won't be able to say no

I really like your podcasts, good job. Their perfect for listening while working in the shop. A suggestion, you might want to check your audio levels, they seemed a little low on this last one.

I'll up it for the next episode so we can hear it over the machines
