Tripan question for Stefan

I have both styles - But for round-shanked tools I prefer the bored and split holders, they seem to be more rigid/stiff.

I have a question pertaining to the Tripan boring bar holders seen on your videos. I recently acquired a Tripan 211 tool post and am in the process of making tool holders (both straight and 30 degree). A Google search showed different styles of Tripan boring bar holders (ones with a hole bored and ones with a slot) and I was wondering what kind you made and why. On my current boring bar holders I have a slot with a V groove on the bottom and the bar is held with set screws. Thanks, Stu
