Hello Everyone,
Most forums require new members to do introductions. I don't see that requirement here but I want to give it a shot.
I am not a machinist and don't claim to be one. I do understand some of the things you do and I want to learn more. So I will likely ask lots of stupid questions.
I have a very small shop and more tools than it can hold. I have two welders, I can do MIG, TIG and Stick welding. I have a Seneca Falls metal lathe from the 1910s-1920s era, I have an Aurora Camel Back Drill press also from the 1910-1920 era. And I have a brand spanking new mini-mill Grizzly G0759 with a few tools to start. I also have an assortment of wood working tools that I plan to migrate to a new dedicated shop in the future. I am on Facebook and YouTube just search for Skully Wood and Metal. https://www.facebook.com/SkullyWoodMetal/
I have been reading the Shop Made Tools section of the forum. I think I am on page 23 or 24. I have also visited Doc's Machine home page and started reading the Whiteboard from the beginning. I know nothing about paintball other than I have a stock Tippman marker. The cartoons are funny and I really enjoy them. I am a great admirer of anyone that could possibly live and flourish in Alaska. Our past winter was 3 days in January where it dropped to bone chilling 28F overnight.
Thanks for the warm welcome,
"G"
