  • Swap Meets/Auctions???

    I live in Florida.

Travelling to Pennsylvania for Cabin Fever once a year is not enough, and it's a long way. Are there any auctions/swap meets for home shop machinists in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, or Tennessee? Google doesn't seem to be much help, and auctioneers' web sites are very frustrating.

    Tractor and farm equipment shows?
    Machinery auctions?
    Machinists' swap meets?

There are tractor and antique engine and farm equipment shows scattered throughout Nth Ala and S Tenn through the late summer and fall. Sorry, I can't give exact dates/locations other than one in Athens/Limestone Co. Al. usually in August

As far as tractor and engine shows you have a really excellent show in Florida.

Thise look like great shows. Whenever l drive through the Midwest I always see antique teactors on flat beds. I always wish I had time to attend the shows.

            Great tractor show ideas.

What I'm looking for is tool auctions and vendor tables, like you have at Cabin Fever Expo. I'm a tool junkie, and always looking for tools I think I may one day need.

Going to start looking at estate sales.

John, where are you in Florida? I moved down here more than a year ago, from an old country house where I had a 1,600 sq. ft. shop. I am downsizing and have more tools and equipment than I have room for.

I went to a Florida Flywheelers meet some time back, and found it very interesting.
