Thanks for the replies. I followed the link posted by Genea to the long island gage site. Checked against the sample I have, looked to be close. So, I went with that, and cut until the DTI fit. I had a funky looking cutter, got it in a fistful of surplus stuff. It was small enough, the dovetail is less than 1/4" across. I guess I shoulda just grabbed it and went for it. After all, as long as it works, it's fine, clamping only. If I hadn't found the cutter, I have a couple files begging to be made into dovetail files, as MarsRed posted.
