Anyone know what grade SS Handicap grab bars are made of? They are totally non magnetic but I can't find listed it on line. A big box store had them on line for 90% off & free shipping so a 48" cost $3.90/shipped. Thanks!

Would depend on the manufacturer but 303/304 would be my bet. You don't need to allow for high heat or extreme environment so any non rusting type would do especially if it's cheaper.The shortest distance between two points is a circle of infinite diameter.

Most likely 304, it's the most economical and readily available in tubing form. 303 has poor weldability and is not available in tubing. Higher numbers in the 300 series have greater corrosion or temperature resistance and are more expensive due to higher levels of chromium and/or nickel.It's all mind over matter.
