  • OT - Wanna Play a Guessing Game? (animals)

Everybody likes guessing games, so here's one. (...and I don't know the answer)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGccrPoAr5I

My daughter sent me this link. It's about a 3 minute video of animals captured on camera around a tree in the woods over the span of a year.
I'm thinking these animals are not native to Nth America, but I don't know where this might be.

    Anyone have an idea?

Badger is probably the one you're thinking of. All animals in that video are found in north america.

All with the exception of the badger, and maybe boar (we have some, but not in large numbers) I wouldn't be surprised to see show up on a game cam in my backyard.

I used to put cameras up all the time, and loved to see what they captured. The problem is they ate through c batteries (8 at a time) so it was very expensive pictures of deer and coyote. I'd like to come up with solar chargers for them and leave them up year round. Interesting to see what walks through the backyard when I'm not around.

I was expecting a different guessing game, more in line with the way HSM works. Maybe something like "I get a bad surface finish when the cat meows. Do I need a VFD???"

At the end of the project, there is a profound difference between spare parts and extra parts.

At the end there are some credits that appear to be in Italian. I didn't search for long, but it appears likely to have been filmed in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise.

Yes,this would be my guess as well. Other than the boar pretty well all of the other animals pictured will be spotted in my back yard as well. Although I must admit there are more than a few subtle differences between the mammals that roam the woods locally and those in the video.

Below a link to some of the animals found in the park that Joel mentioned.
