  • Neat Cl lathe.... vintage stark #4

I was bored in the bus tonight
    So wandered through CL here
    And found this

    https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/tl...487108693.html

    Neat pictures if nothing else

Just a CL browser ... I have no interest in this tool

Is that how Stark Industries got their start? Maybe made Iron Man parts on it.

Looking at that, the price is not so far out. maybe 2:1 on the high side. It has a lot of fairly rare tooling. I do not know what type collets it used, but those big wheel collets are not found on every streetcorner...... and then to have the original countershaft...... and a steady...

That said, it is not a Rivett 608, which would be on target, if not low at that price, in similar condition with that sort of tooling.
