Mr.King, the issue is he wants you to pay for advertising, but it’s perfectly acceptable for myself to plug your merchandise on here. Silly, right?
With that said, my Bridgeport needs the X and Y re-scraped. As it is, I already had to shim my gibs with SS shim stock and I do not get full range on Y. I am very interested in attending one of your classes but I am also on the fence of just buying a new Taiwan knee mill or a Tormach 1100 instead. I suppose your 18” camel back would be good for my Bridgeport, and with a 45 for the dovetail? I’d also need to fit new gibs.

Well, I'd surely buy one of the HGR ones, IF I were visiting up near there now, but not shipped...... By the time I am up there again, I am certain they will be long gone, even if they are not yet.

And, probably they are gone by now, since they were given worldwide advertising now.

if you were interested in one, be aware that you have no idea if the reference surface is any good, unless you can check it. That takes another known good straightedge, or a granite flat, surface plate, etc.

Yes the rule here has always been no selling or advertising your stuff, unless cleared by George Bullis. Everyone respects George and it has always worked surprisingly well . Al

A friend of mine who is a rebuilder tells mm if someone wants a complete rebuild to sell the Bridport and buy a new Acer or Acra Mill. The 18 " SE is to short as the top of knee is 22" so You would be better with a 24"er. but I can't talk about it. I would pay for an ad...or on another forum you pay 100.00 a year to talk about your products. I do that plus give advice of rebuilding as I do here.

Hmm, buying a new mill that I would have for the rest of my life would make sense.

Just send a message to George and see if he is OK with it. He may be ecstatically happy to have it.
