  • Tool gloat!!! Mill

Even though I paid $4K. I still think I got it for half price. It has over 3k in accessories.

It’s a lot bigger than I expected when I went to look at it. I was expecting Bridgeport size nope it’s the next up 10”X50” table.

She was missing a few plastic knobs. So I made brass replacements.

$4K is a great deal! I'd have grabbed it in a Picosecond if I needed another mill. Very nice looking machine!

It was in a garage that built monster trucks they said they mostly used it for a drill press.

There new shop they built didn’t have 3ph (darn the luck) and was getting rid of it. Only 4 small holes in the bottom of the vice. Table is like new.

Yes I was not expecting to see box ways.

They are nice. Bigger knee also. Many different manf names on these beefier models. I think they are called generically called VH4. Improvements in the heads also. Way heavier than a BP; nice evolution.

The Bridgeport fans will be sooooo jealous. What fitting is the spindle?
That variable speed control warning is important, if it is moved without the machine running, flats or scratches will mar the surfaces of the disc or rollers.

It has an R8 spindle. I peeked in side threw the vents. It has a variable geometry pulleys to give it the speed ranges.

I do hope that Homers all purpose bucket was included in the price.
