looking for 3mm thick files. any help?
anyone know where I can find metal files that are 3mm thick and 3/4-1in wide and 8-12in long?

Another thought; buy a slightly oversize file and give it a ride on a surface grinder. You'll end up with one or more "safe" edges, but that might actually be an advantage, depending on what you need to do.
