Looks sweet to me. I don't care where or how you got it. Hope mine turns out 3/4 that well (see the Enco thread).

You going to need a frequency drive for it? I'd be interested in what you find for a 3 horse motor cause I'm in the market for one myself.

    Cheers,

Should turn out better than new if you sink $5600 into it.

How do you know if I paid that or not?
That's just an asking price and that included $1k worth of Kurt swivel vise and a DRO.

Let's just say I ended up paying less than a POS Grizzly so...GFY.

I think that 3ph is just bored and trolling, possibly overexcited by that auction he posted about. Sadly he's part of the low signal:noise ratio on this board, think of him as the "thermite" of homeshopmachinist.

                  Termite?
                  Oh..."THERMITE"!
I think termite would be more correct.
                  Thermite is actually useful.

I guess it would be difficult to experience such a high degree of public humiliation without reacting badly.
                  Surprised he came back.

Ouch! thermite might need more than a band aid after that

Well, you do need to pity a guy who can't recognize when a general contractor is puttin' the screws to him.
That cellar door fiasco was inexcusable.
Makes you wonder what else is sub-par.

I wish! Only the really good contractors insist on screws. Unfortunately they use nails for almost everything.

True. they nail you to the wall, and then extract the wallet.

                                As in the case mentioned.
