Looking for Good Drill Bits

Didn't realize I was touching on such a hot subject. I've seen Democrats and Republicans go at it with less passion. All I was trying to do was decide on a good brand of drill bit going forward.

I too don't think much of DDs. One I knew of only lasted for a while, like yours, maybe a few hundred. The other was new and a friend had it. He showed me a newly ground drill, with a big smile on his face, about how good it was working. The relief angle was the wrong way and his smile faded when I pointed that out. Probably just an adjustment. But it didn't make me run out and buy one.
