Machinery missing from the lathes website

The excellent reference website http://www.lathes.co.uk/index.html has a few missing manufacturers, a couple of which I have looked for in vain, Wadkin mills, and Kearney & Trecker.
If anybody has information that they could pass on to the website, it would benefit us all. There must be lots of missing information out there somewhere.

Do you mean J. Wadkin Ltd. Leicester?
Both Watkin and K&T are represented on Vintage Machinery dot org by a wealth of information.

I don't think the site's owner has banned cnc information, but cnc owners are too busy or cannot be bothered to contribute.

He has a myriad of manuals. Selling them is where he gets his revenue.

I'd like to see someone put forward a comparable resource as I've yet to find one.

Vintage Machinery is that, covers machinery beyond mills and lathes, historical information, I don't have to pay for manuals, many photo of individual machines, etc.

Conversely, lathes UK has damn little information on Van Norman milling machines. No mention of any of the most familiar models:#6, 12, 16, 22, 32, 1R2, 2RQ, etc

I thought Wadkin was mainly a maker of woodworking machinery? If you have old paper you're willing to scan in and make public, I'm sure VM would be happy to host it.

It seems that there is a scarcity of information on DS&G.

I like vintagemachinery but I can't say that it even comes close to comparing with lathes in terms of sheer diversity of equipment covered. I would guess that the fact that one website is fundamentally U.S and the other U.K explains why VM has no DSG info and lathes' Van Norman info is lacking. Both rely in good part on submissions from the populace and it's only natural that VM will be more focused on American iron.
