I was so disappointed to find the huge 1/5 monster truck at the show is not available (only pre-order) or my son and I would have gotten one. This thing was massive and looked amazing. I wanted to take one home myself. Maybe next year if they actually stock them.

Someone was flying a really nice rubber band powered plane that flew for several minutes on one winding. It had a huge propeller that appeared to turn at maybe 60 RPM. My son and I watched it in awe as it slowly climbed in a slow spiral climb, then a slow spiral descent.

I didn't take a picture of the rubber band powered plane that I mentioned earlier but I did find this picture that someone else took. It might have been one of these from the show:

I did find a good video of the show. There is some footage from some of the free flight planes. I believe the actual plane my son and I saw fly was something else as I remember the prop being really over-sized compared to the planes above.
