The only real thing I’ll miss is the Baseball season but we can get that on the local radio. I no longer watch the NFL at all, havn’t sence the Kraprinick BS and the kneeling thing. I mean I just can’t rap my head around what the multi millionaires of the NFL thinks about this country. I think I’ll get a lot more done in my shop when I’m not wasting time watching the boob tube. I have 12mbs internet and it will stream ok, plus with Amazon prime video from the free shipping deal. I have more than enoughthing to cut into my shop time. Besides with all money I can save, I can run a gas line to my shop put in a 80,000btu Max heater, insulate the shop and have a place to work during the winter. Yea!

Having a heated shop in the winter is the best. I figured I'd be in my shop all year round, but there are just so many things we do as a family in the summer time that I didn't use my shop at all last summer. But when winter rolls around, the shop definitely turns into a playground.

With an Android tv box you would not need an Amazon prime account or a Netflix subscription. All sports channels from any country are available.

You could get that gas line toyour shop sooner.

We are transitioning to the Android TV box, $30 including shipping, no monthly fees. Local TV via digital over-the-air antenna. 100 megabyte internet connection works just fine. Wouldn't go back to satellite or cable tv for anything. We had Centurylink here for a couple of months, but what a joke it was. Dial-up would have been just as enjoyable.

    Savings for 4 years.....cable, 48 months $5280.00
    Netflix, 48 months 672.00
    Total saved in 4 years....$5952.00
Kinda same except I pay $50.00 a month for wireless internet and did it 14 years ago. When my analogue TV died the TV I bought wasn't a smart TV, didn't know I needed one and wasn't sure my internet was fast enough. Few years later I bought an inexpensive DVD player with internet and discovered Netflix. We get 20 some off the air channels along with YouTube and Netflix. We would have internet even without Netflix, figure I have saved at least $16,000.00 over what I would have been paying for cable.

Watched the Spicer motorized podium, was funny.

SNL is absolutely the last thing I would watch if we had a TV that worked. Never could stand that crap.

Android is the firmware and operating system of the box. You can access Youtube, Netfix etc but there are many other apps that are available also. Any app that is available on Google play stay can be installed on an android box.

If you are interested in more info, pm me and I can share links etc for purchases and support for fully loaded boxes.
I can dirrect you to a sales repcloses to your area.
It looks like the Android box is something that you use if you don't have a smart tv. We have mostly smart tv's and the ones that don't have chromecast on them.
