Solid carbide boring bar from China

I have just seen a 5mm solid carbide boring bar on ebay, made in China for less than £20. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Solid-Car...s/143162394508
I have a Garant 6mm solid carbide and Iscar Picco's for small holes already, in addition to several shop made 7mm, 12mm and 1/2", some with carbide shanks and some with Densimet shanks.
This is the first time that I have seen Chinese made boring bars of this type.

Aliexpress has plenty of chinese solid carbide boring bars. Unless you meant the tiny diameter with ccmt insert.

Teeny-weeny insert size is a bit worrying on the 5mm bar

My Garant takes a tiny size like that 5mm Chinese one, held on with 1.8mm Torx screws. I had to buy genuine Garant inserts, not cheap, but top quality results with steel and aluminium. It has a coolant hole about 1mm diameter, and according to the spec, it can bore up to 8 diameters. I will look at the tips I have before thinking about getting one of the Chinese bar as CCMT 03 size is hard to get.

My Iscar Picco's are similar to those, but I only paid a tenth of that price.
