  • Gas engine up and running, reliably!

This is an engine that I've had basically completed for a couple of years now, but I wanted it to be self contained, ready to run at any time, just add gas.
(BTW, this is what I use the AV gas for. Does not smell as bad as ethanol/auto fuel. Plus, I add just a little Marvel Mystery oil)
I used an S/S engineering CDI with hall sensor. It starts with a flip of the knurled flange.

              It's a beauty Sid!
And a sweet running little engine to boot.
Thanks for the link and the inspiration for others.
I say others only because I don't have the patience to deal with building a small engine of that level of quality, not that I don't appreciate them or the skill that goes into it.

I'm going to continue experimenting with the very rudimentary carb.
