  • 6 inch jointer blade retainers

Does anyone know where I can purchase the blade retainers for a rockwell delta older jointer. They are the flat bar with four threaded holes with four hex headed small bolts to tighten the bars against the blades.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks, Ken

Assuming you have tried Delta, you might place a free want ad at-
    http://www.woodmachines.com/

    OR-
    http://www.oldwwmachines.com/

If you haven't tried Delta, try their website, they have a parts and service manual lookup on the site.

Other than that,if you have an example to copy then do that. The jibs usually aren't had to make, just some colled rolled and a few tapped holes.
I just need one more tool, just one!

Do you have at least one of the retainers? Worst comes to worst you could have a machine shop make them for you.

If you end up making them, make sure that the holes are drilled at the proper angle. The top of the bolt heads need to make full contact with the cutterhead.
