I've heard of those but never seen 'em in action. Are they mounted on just any 'ol bandsaw, or do they require a dedicated type machine?

You can run them on any saw that runs slow enough(20-120sfpm)

I do the same thing with a 1" wide sanding belt backed up by a length of flatbar.
I just need one more tool, just one!

I don't know if they will fit a normal bandsaw. I think they are for a Grob bandfiler.

there's a guy in York, PA who sells used equipment (his name is on the tip of my tongue but i can't think of it, Frank may know who i mean). anyway, he had a bunch of them last year, and the bandfiler as well, that he was looking to basically give away. i don't know how often he comes across them, but he usually has stuff at the Friday night auction at Cabin Fever. when i remeber his name i'll post it and anyone going to Cabin Fever can mention it to him.

The danger is not that computers will come to think like men - but that men will come to think like computers. - some guy on another forum not dedicated to machining
