Making a Spanish Destroyer Bolt

Made some progress on the bolt nose and cocking piece with a warm weather break in the subfreezing temperatures we had for 2 weeks!
I got off to a bad start while drilling a pilot hole with a 1/8” bit but I was able to come in from the opposite side with a 1/4” carbide bit and salvage the part.
I blanked out the pieces for the cocking piece and will have to continue when the weather gets warmer!

Cocking piece is finished! Next up is the safety!

I made the firing pin spring and the firing pin!
Safety will be next.
