    Was thinking of making my own stubby gas lens wedge collets. Does anyone know if there is a specific copper material for them.

    McMaster has copper rods super cheap. Not sure which one you'd want, they'd probably all work.

      Not that I know of, you could probably use either copper or brass.

          Make sure you have some drills with negative rake. Copper is a PITA to machine. It's grabby.
