  • Newbie, looking for help

    Hi all, new here.
I just retired, and am slowly upgrading/repairing my tools.
    I have a Machinex 5, I bought new in the mid 70's.
It's been run hard, and put up wet, a few times, (admittedly, my fault), so I am fixing things, I can.
The manufacturer disappeared years ago, so I'm on my own, for parts.
I (foolishly) gave away all my old HSM magazines, and books, when I moved a few years ago.
So, I'm now looking for either copies of a couple articles, or the entire HSM magazines, May-June, and July-August, 1982,
There are a couple articles regarding the Machinex 5, that I'm hoping will have suggestions I can use.
I know this lathe is small and limited, but it has done pretty much everything I have asked for over 40 years, hoping to get a few more years out of it.

    Thanks
    Mike

      Thanks!
I hadn't seen this before, and I can take some ideas from it.
      Have a great day!
      Cheers
