For the most part as others have said - it is a printer. You send it a file and it prints it. Easy as that. whether you draw it yourself or download...

The original ball screws in this lathe got wet or something.. they are 'crunchy' I tried re-balling them but it didn't help. the actual nut was pitted...

Currently the control isn't the limitation. The acceleration is the limiting factor. Plus it doesn't do any trajectory planning.. I made it a bit better...
