The opening is somewhere around 1mm but the tapers inside are designed to get the gas moving supersonic. They are not cheap either, about $40 a piece....Last edited by macona; 01-28-2023, 01:51 PM.

Not sure, but it cant be much worse than oxy-acetelyene cutting. I think I can use lower pressure, I am still messing around with that stuff....

I took a little time to test cutting with 02 tonight. Oh boy, does that work. from 1-2mm/s for 16Ga steel with air to 25-30mm/s using O2. Cuts stainless...Last edited by macona; 01-28-2023, 05:15 AM.

There is cold welding that you do in a vacuum chamber. Pump down to like -9 torr range and then coat a layer of tin on the surfaces and then press together...
